Tour to Colca Canyon 2D/1N

At 08:00 am I pick up from the hotel to board private mobility towards the Colca Canyon, where we will begin our journey along the road to Yura, there we will admire the natural and cultural landscape of that area, then by the Chachani volcano and pass by the National Park of Salinas and Aguada Blanca which is an area protected by the Peruvian government until reaching Pampa Cañahuas, in this place the guide will explain about the flora and fauna of the area, here you are in your natural habitat of the famous South American camelid vicuña.

Continuing with the route along the way, a small stop will be made in Patahuasi (house high up in QUECHUA) to take an aromatic mate of coca among other herbs of the place (this for an air conditioning process) We will immediately continue the trip to the bofedales where we will observe different species of birds both local and migratory according to season as well as some endemic and unique to the place, in this section you can also see ALPACAS grazing throughout the area, then we will continue to the viewpoint of the Volcanoes known as Patapampa, point highest of the trip located at 4910 masl approx. Also known as the Mirador de los Andes, here you can see different volcanoes such as Mismi, Hualca Hualca, Sabancaya, Ampato, Ubinas and Chachani and even MISTI itself.

12:45 approx. Arrival to the town of Chivay to have a delicious lunch of typical food of the region.

16:30 approx. We will visit the baths of thermo-medicinal waters of “La Calera” suitable to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds it.

19:30 approx. Dinner at the restaurant accompanied by a live show of typical dances of the Colca Valley such as WITITI and CAMILE, spend the night in the town of CHIVAY.

06:00 a.m. approx. After having our breakfast, we will leave from Chivay towards the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, along the route you can see the beauty of the Colca Valley with pre inkas platforms until you reach the point called CRUZ DEL CONDOR where you can observe the majestic flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon. On the way back to Chivay we will visit the villages of Pincholo, Maca, Achona and Yanque, in which we will observe very colorful villages with their inhabitants of Vesdtimenta very typical of this valley, as well as the Lito scale models, colonial churches.

12:00 approx. Arrival to Chivay. lunch

13:30 approx. We will board the bus to return to Arequipa, arriving around the

17:00 hrs, leaving them in their respective hotels.
