The Uros are an original people located in the bay of Puno, whose majority population has settled for centuries on huge totora rafts called «floating islands», which sail on the waters of Lake Titicaca; and whose language belongs to the Uru-Chipaya linguistic family.
Our excursion to the Floating Islands of the Uros begins with the pick-up at the hotel from 7:45 am to transfer them to the Port of Puno where we will board a motor boat that will take us to the fascinating floating islands of the Uros. During our visit we will be able to explore the island, its typical houses, souvenir shops, walk in one of its reed boats at an additional cost, dress its typical attires and take pictures with the villagers or with some traditional attire. After our visit we will return to Puno.
